Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all paid subscriptions to Treddit, operated by Vandit Jain. We want you to be confident in subscribing, and this policy is designed to be fair to both you and us.

1. Free Plan

Treddit offers a free tier that does not require a credit card or any payment. No refund is applicable to free plan usage.

2. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your paid subscription, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of your initial payment. This guarantee applies to first-time subscriptions only.

To request a refund within this window, email us at vandit296@gmail.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and include the email address associated with your account. We will process your refund within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.

3. Refunds After 7 Days

After the 7-day window, subscription payments are non-refundable. Cancelling your subscription stops future charges but does not refund the current billing period. You retain access to paid features until the end of the period you paid for.

Exceptions may be made at our sole discretion in cases of documented technical failure that prevented access to the Service for an extended period. Contact us to discuss such cases.

4. Renewal Charges

Monthly subscription renewals are non-refundable once processed. If you wish to avoid a renewal charge, cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

5. Chargebacks

We ask that you contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Most issues can be resolved quickly by emailing us directly. Initiating an unjustified chargeback may result in suspension of your account.

6. Service Termination by Us

If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund any unused portion of your current paid billing period on a pro-rated basis. If termination is due to a violation of our Terms of Service, no refund will be issued.

7. Payment Processing

Refunds are processed through the original payment method. For Razorpay payments (India), refunds typically appear within 5–7 business days. For Paddle payments (international), refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer or bank.

8. EU Consumer Rights

If you are located in the European Union, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, provided you have not yet accessed the paid features of the Service. By actively using the paid features after subscribing, you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal may be waived as the Service has been fully performed with your prior express consent.
